Contemporary Austin Farmhouse-Inspired Duplex
This 4,200 SF contemporary Austin farmhouse-inspired duplex achieves its sophisticated style by combining classic architectural elements expressed in a new form. The design challenge included creating a form that wasn’t a mirror image of itself which is typical of the average duplex. Instead, the shape was formed to create the appearance of one single home. This resulted in two distinct floor plans. Privacy of the individually owners was paramount so front and back entries were placed to be as private as possible.
